The fight against President Bush and the ultra-conservative agenda is far from over. Swing the State has developed a two-pronged plan of attack. First, Swing the State has partnered with affiliates who are actively fighting the right-wing. If you're worried about the Supreme Court, interested in protecting a woman's right to choose, or concerned about attacks on the environment, StS can match you will an affiliate who needs your help.
Second, Swing the State is looking toward 2006, when we'll help the Democrats take back Congress. |

variety of fun, social events for progressives to meet,
work, and play together.
And you know what we've found out? Progressive folks
not only have their heads and hearts in the right place,
but they're also a pretty wild and crazy bunch.

Progressive Softball Challenge.
On July 2nd, Swing the State-NYC organized the Progressive
Softball Showdown, a picnic and softball tournament
to raise money for deserving progressive organizations
around the country.
We had 4 full teams, 100+ people, and 1
great time!

Rock your refund.
On April 15th, 2005, Swing the State and Drinking
Liberally threw “Rock Your Refund”: a
party in NYC to benefit education programs cut by
Bush’s budget. Many thanks to all of you who
came by, and told others about our event!
